We are looking for an outstanding Data Architect with 6+ years of experience working with data and is passionate about technology & architecture, loves hands-on development and wants to build scalable, high performance state of the art platform. The right candidate for this position has a proven track record of building and architecting data infrastructure with high scale in mind, demonstrates an ability to lead small technical teams and can manage relationships with data analysts, engineering and business teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Data Architecture, Standards and Strategies for the company.
  • Build scalable and reliable near real time data pipeline on Open Source technologies that collects, transforms, loads and process data from various internal and external data sources.
  • Build a scalable distributed data store that will be central source of truth.
  • Develop comprehensive strategy, roadmap and implementation plans around data practices and integrations.
  • Lead multiple strategic programs around data as a key asset driving products, and revenue.
  • Work directly with business users to translate requirements into solutions and ultimately develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions that leverage cloud based data architectures.

  • Own data quality for the pipelines you build and make them auditable
  • Build self service tools that helps the business users to extract, analyze and visualize data faster as well as to Data Analysts to build complex queries and perform advanced analysis.
  • Evaluate new technologies and build prototypes for continuous improvements in Data Engineering

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of Data Architecture Experience using Open Source Big Data technologies Spark, Kafka, Hadoop and Hive.
  • Solid understanding and demonstrable implementation experience of cloud data platform technologies such as Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services.
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong understanding of data profiling and data cleansing techniques
  • Proven track record driving rapid prototyping and designs
  • Strong programming background. Experience with and the ability to troubleshoot and tune relevant programming languages like SQL, Python, Scala and Java.
  • Experience in building and monitoring near real time scalable ETL pipelines
  • Experience with data workflow tools such as AirFlow, Azkaban or Oozie
  • Takes ownership of problems and proactively resolves technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements and aligns with the vision, mission, objectives, strategy of the team
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field

Plus skills :

  • Experience with Tableau, Apache Superset or Apache Zeppelin will be a plus
  • Experience with Docker,Kubernetes and Linux Advanced Administration skills will be a plus
  • Experience working with a team distributed over time zones would be a plus
