Banque Franco-Lao is a young bank, subsidiaries of BRED (BPCE french banking group), based in Lao PDR. Opened in 2012, BFL has a network of 24 branches across Laos and 40 ATMs deployed. Still in our development phase, we are looking for a young and skillful computer engineer to join our growing team.

This position involves working on projects related to the 3 mains activities of the IT Dept: Infrastructure & IT Support, Core-Banking & Reporting, E-Payment. Scope of projects is really wide and goes from internal IS to banking products implementation, so it implies the candidate to be able to quickly understands the context and the needs, in a large range of technologies and find the right strategy.

The candidate has to be fully committed, creative, fast learner, pro-active and willing to work in a developing country. Laos is a great country to live in. Still at its early stage of development, it's a preserved part of Asia, with strong tradition and adorable people.

Work duty:
 . Implement new systems within the bank IS. Example: CRM, ECM
 . Implement new banking products. Example: accounts, cards, services to end-customers
 . Understand functional requirements and define technical specifications
 . Program and design solution
 . Manage projects end-to-end
 . Refer directly to the Head of Dept

Key technical skills:
 . Strong technical background
 . Programming: web oriented, scripting
 . Database: SQL programming
 . Basic project management methodology
 . Basic network knowledge

Extra appreciated skills:
 . Knowledge on E-Payment (ATM, POS, VISA, Mastercard, UPI)
 . Database architecture
 . Already worked with Oracle and Microsoft BI suite
 . Programming: .NET, JAVA
 . Experience in the banking industry
