DevOps Engineer at 8Relocate

Responsibilities:

Together with tech leads and CTO, define and implement a dev ops vision, consisting of

  • Developer tooling. Help engineers develop without stepping on each other’s toes, and release frequently and with confidence

  • System and database administration. Join forces with our sys admin to take responsibility of our hardware and tools

  • Automation. Spot and fix opportunities for automating manual/repetitive tasks

Requirements:

  • Extensive cloud infrastructure experience (ideally AWS)

  • Configuration Management with Salt (Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is okay)

  • Scripting with Bash and Python

  • Git and Jenkins

  • CI/CD pipeline experience

  • Linux experience

Nice to have:

  • Leadership experience

  • Software engineering background (ideally Python or Java)

  • Build and release background

  • Experience in applications performance monitoring
