Responsibilities:

• Build new servers for us, spin up those servers and deploy our application stack on the new servers.  
• Gain a working knowledge of our application topology.
• Add to our ability to monitor and maintain our deployments.
• Increase our production up-time.  We will have fewer fires because of you.  

Requirements:

• You are smart with an Intellectual curiosity that motivates you to keep on top of technical trends.
• You have worked with Linux servers for a company with a high traffic site.  
• You have monitored and managed scalable clusters that handle tremendous load.
• You have experience deploying servers in the cloud.
• You’ve got experience with continuous integration, log collection and analysis, builds, or performance monitoring
• You’re service-oriented, and enjoy working with engineers to make the software development process painless as possible
• You are extremely reliable and we can count on you in times of need.
• You are comfortable writing scripts in ruby/bash/groovy/python (at least two of those). 
• Demonstrable experience with Cloud operation technologies. Specifically AWS. 

Nice to have:

• Experience with our stack - Tomcat, MySQL, Cassandra, Apache, HAProxy, ActiveMQ etc.
