Do you hold a University degree or National Higher Diploma in IT?
Do you code extensively in Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3?

A global independent financial consultancy is offering a motivated individual the opportunity to form part of its dynamic IT department.

The Frontend Developer will be leading custom web development projects through completion. He/She will make use of leadership and programming skills to build new and maintain existing web applications. The main duties include:

  • Developing web applications and code structures and well as innovative web tools
  • Supporting the upkeep of existing web applications
  • Recommending programs compatible with future technologies
  • Planning and delivering software applications and platforms used across the business
  • Fixing and troubleshooting bugs and issues
  • Working closely with other teams and communicating progress or delays in projects

Requirements:

  • University Degree or Higher National Diploma in IT or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience working in a similar position
  • Experience in using: Javascript; HTML5; CSS3; Rest APIs
  • Conversant with responsive design, particularly Bootstrap
  • Interested in building Single Page Applications
  • Knowledge of Typescript and backend considered an asset
