Can you think inside the box?

Front End work is creatively and technically challenging and becoming more so every day with the proliferation of mobile technology. Yet presenting information in the best and most efficient way across all devices, despite the constraints of the technology, has never been more important to the internet economy. We‘re looking for front end developers who don’t just survive within the confines of a tight technical brief, they thrive.

Skyscanner is a fast paced tech company that just happens to be in the travel business. Today we’re the world’s travel search engine. Tomorrow, we’ll be everyone’s personal travel assistant. To get from here to there, we need to constantly and continuously offer our customers the best possible user experience. Which is where you come in.

As a Front End Developer, you are not frustrated by rigid specs and tight deadlines; quite the reverse in fact. You have an instinctive grasp of how things work and the engineer in you rises to the challenge every time. Optimising the user experience, maximising conversions, embracing our mobile first policy and developing cross platform and multi browser compatible solutions. You have a hunger for technology and a thirst for learning and your appetite to develop ever faster and more scalable outcomes is matched only by your motivation to solve problems, and fast.

If you see boundaries as a challenge, not a limitation, don’t hold back - apply today.

You can offer us:

A hunger to learn, a desire to meet challenges, a passion for technology and developmet and a commitment to applying engineering best practice to produce top quality solutions.

We can offer you:

An excellent career move. The chance to work with exceptional engineers, in fact, great people across the board. The space to be trusted to do what you do best and to make decisions that matter. The potential to tackle big stuff, not small stuff. The freedom to do your job however it suits you best.

What do you need to apply?

We’re looking for people across all levels of experience and we’re more concerned with what you can do than what you have done. But at a minimum, a Computer Science degree or similar; experience in a web economy or other tech environment; proficiency in object-oriented programming, JavaScript, HTML and CSS; familiarity with product engineering and automated testing.
