• We are looking for a front-end Mobile Web Developer to take ownership of development and maintenance of mobile web applications built using the Moovweb platform. These include mobile/tablet websites and hybrid applications for both iOS and Android devices.
• The qualified candidate will be a smart individual who takes 100% ownership of everything (s)he does with focus on getting the job done and done right.
• Moovweb delivers over 2.5 billion pages to 60 million mobile users every month, powering hundreds of mobile experiences for market leaders including Nordstrom, AIG, Kaiser, Panasonic, McKesson, Fairmont and Campbell’s. A passion and pride in delivering quality experiences to millions of users is a must.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• Proven, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills are essential
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly is a must
• Strong interest in mobile web devices and applications
• Must be well versed in HTML, CSS, and web standards
• Skilled at JavaScript, AJAX, and DOM scripting
• Strong ability to debug web pages
• Good design sensibilities and awareness of UX best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Available for periodic on call support rotation

Nice to have:

• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA
• Experience with version control systems like git is strongly preferred.

• JavaScript libraries such as jQuery or NodeJS

• Knowledge of website performance optimizations
