About the role:

We are looking for a Front-End Developer who is motivated to combine the art of UX design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. You will work in a young, dynamic and agile team in Jobrapido’ s Technology Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features
  
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in an agile team and with agile practices
  
• Evolve Jobrapido’s code base to keep state of the art technology
  

Skills and Qualifications:

Required skills:

• Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3. Familiarity with template engines, such as Handlebars, is a plus
  
• Good understanding of CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and SASS
  
• Good understanding of JavaScript client-side scripting, including XHR, AJAX, and data flow architectures such as flux and redux
  
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS and ReactJS.

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform adjustments on images. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
  
• Previous experience in unit testing and TDD. E2E tests experience is a plus
  
• Proficient use of build tools such as Webpack or Gulp / Grunt
  
• Good understanding of/experience with agile methodology
  
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  
• Proficient understanding of Git and pull requests workflow
  
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
  

Education and experience:

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  
• 2-5 years working experience in similar roles
  
• Good written and spoken English
