A home loan is the most important financial transaction in most people’s lives, but often a very frustrating and complicated process. Our goal is to set a new bar for the consumer experience and challenge the big banks by putting the customer back in focus. To achieve this, we need your engineering talent to build out all aspects of this experience: taking a mortgage bank and reworking it from the inside out.

ROLE

1/0 Mortgage is looking for a full-stack developer to build a modern online mortgage application process.

We are looking for someone with several years of industry experience, ideally with multiple languages such as Go, Java, and JavaScript. Hopefully you like highly asynchronous services, as well as algorithms and data processing. We want someone who likes to build things above all, but we also want someone who is open-minded about technology and wants to work in a solid team of experienced engineers.

We like to tackle big challenging problems and build things no one has built before. We also like to ship code several times every day and let data influence our decisions.

The company is small and you will be big part of defining the technical direction, as well as the culture. Our office is right on Broadway in Lower Manhattan and we have a competitive package that includes salary and equity.
