We founded Smokio in August 2013 in Paris, France and created the first smart and connected vaporizer. We want to help people live a better and healthier life by bringing technology to everyday life. We believe in building quality experiences for our customers through elegance and simplicity while maintaining high level of security and privacy. These principles form the cornerstone behind our work, and reinforces our belief that that the best technology makes you smarter, puts you in control, and gives you access to the information you need. We have a lot of projects for the future, and are looking to build a team eager to join the ride.

Requirements

• You are a talented, organized and open-minded developer;
• You take pragmatic decisions and are capable to execute quickly;
• You are technically outstanding in Ruby and Javascript;
• You have already developed API_REST/webservices, in particular when it comes to manipulate Big Data;
• You know how to make automated deployments;
• You are keen to join a dynamic and experimented team based in the heart of Paris;
• You thrive to be part of a team building a highly innovative product, to be used by hundreds of thousands of users.

Missions

• Improve our relational database in charge of managing and aggregating a large amount of data in real-time;
• Expand our API in charge of communicating with our mobile apps (iOS, Android);
• Build and document an Open API;
• Identify users patterns and develop "smart" models to improve the in-app coaching experience;
• Work in collaboration with mobile and back-end developers. Be in touch with other connected devices companies to integrate API.
