Say Media, a global online publishing and technology company, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer. We currently use a mix of JavaScript (AngularJS framework and in-house ad frameworks), HTML5, CSS, Node.js, and Python. Role is responsible design, implementation, and maintenance of Say Media’s Monetization platform

The members of our Engineering team are the architects and builders of Say's technology. Engineers work with a variety of programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Java, HTML, CSS. About the position:

• The ideal candidate will have a software development background with interests that span across the entire stack; we currently use a mix of JavaScript (AngularJS framework and in-house ad frameworks), HTML5, CSS, Node.js, and Python.
• Design, implementation, and maintenance of Say Media’s Monetization platform.
• Work with the Product team to design and specify new functionality
• Participate in all phases of the software development cycle.
• Provide technical and thought leadership for the development team

About you:

• B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years software engineering experience (experience with Python a plus)
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, and the willingness to learn
• Experience in object oriented programming
• Ability to work in a company environment involving a product management organization, architects, development, and customer-facing support
• Comfortable with writing scalable and maintainable code.
