About the job:

To grow our technical team, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and autonomous developer, able to build new features for our platform and bring new ideas.

You ideally:

• have a strong programming experience (3+ years), with a good knowledge of web development
• already have a good hands-on experience with Python and Javascript
• use best practices in testing, versioning
• have good bases of all what is Unix
• are a good team-player, and know well how to communicate with non-tech people

This is a unique opportunity to work on an innovative SaaS product with B2C and B2B aspects, with a team composed of experienced entrepreneurs and lawyers.

Your work will mainly span the following areas:

• improving our existing document-generation app,
• helping to design and implement our new product: matchmaking lawyers with people in need of legal assistance
• automating tasks and hacking together external resources
• strengthening the existing code and architecture
• improving the web platform structure

The stack today:

• web: Django/Python, jQuery, Bootstrap, Sass using Heroku & friends
• other: Python, Celery/Rabbitmq, Docker using EC2

You're not expected to master the whole stack, rather to be confortable with working with it from day 1 and to develop related skills quickly.

Legalstart is a legal-tech startup based in Paris. We are developing France 1st 100% online legal services platform. We want to radically simplify access to the law for entrepreneurs and SMBs. Our solution automatically generates legal documents which quality is equivalent to what a lawyer would produce, and takes care of all the administrative hassle.

Since our launch in the beginning of 2014, our platform attracted more than 1500 users launching their business.
