The main duties of the IT Support Officer are to ensure that all computer, telephone and network systems function effectively and safely as well as handling client support. The chosen candidate will:

• Monitor and maintain systems
• Resolve hardware, system and network issues
• Install and set up hardware, operating systems and applications
• Assist clients and staff in system setups or troubleshooting
• Produce operational procedure documentation and reports
• Assist in roll-out of new applications as well as the set-up and troubleshooting of user profiles
• Evaluate new technology and conduct general maintenance pertaining to the IT infrastructure

• An advanced diploma in IT or higher
• 3 years working experience in IT support
• Conversant in Windows and Linux
• Technical knowledge of IT equipment
• Proficient in HA clustering and configurations and MS SQL server database administration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English
• Ability to work efficiently within a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
