Barcelona, Spain

Posted on Mar 23 2017 (9 months ago)

Visas:

European citizens only

For one of the biggest global technological company in the world, with 40 offices spread around 14 different countries, we are currently looking for a Mobile developer to join our team in Barcelona in constant expansion.

We landed in Spain only 6 months ago and are already 30 people working in the office but by the end of the year we are looking into expanding to 100 people.

We are closely associated with the movement of agile software development and we like to contribute to a wide range of open source products. We love working with TDD and pair programming and are looking for colleagues who are alike.

What will I be doing?

  • Use and grow agile practises in a project, using for example continuous integration and test driven development practices (TDD and BDD)
  • Have worked on the analysis, design, coding and implementation of large scale, custom built object-oriented applications
  • Coach and spread best practices of software development inside and outside our community (sharing is caring)
  • Work with extremely talented and diverse people in an open and non-hierarchical environment

Who are we looking for?

  • Passion about coding. Your idea of fun is probably to write an app in your spare time, be it a web 2.0 app or a shiny new framework to bring more fun to your daily activities
  • Development and delivery experience with Android and have some experience in software development
  • Keen to work collaboratively with smart people, sharing your ideas to solve real business problems
