About the job:

The Front End Developer will work closely within the company's developer team, together with design and product teams. Key tasks include:

  • Implement graphic design through JavaScript and HTML, CSS
  • Integrate with server-side generated content using PHP
  • Test cross-browser, cross-platform and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
1 year of experience minimum, more is a plus

You will join the team as it is tackling some new exciting challenges (internationalization, scaling up, mobile, UX improvement…)

The successful Front End Developer will have experience of working on a project with a small team of developers and designers. Ideally, he will have previous experience of project collaboration using Git, and to work in agile mode. 

In addition the Front End Developer will have:

  • The ability to interpret graphic or visual interaction designs in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with PHP frameworks
  • A mobile-first approach to development, including an understanding of page speed and search engine optimization
  • An understanding of best practice to ensure browser and device compatibility
  • An understanding of best practice in CSS file organisation and structure
  • The ability to identify user experience and usability issues
  • The ability to write reusable and maintainable code
