About the Role

We are looking for a highly innovative full stack developer with strong passion for front-end ready to be a reference in the design and implementation of our website. You will be all over HTML 5/CSS 3, have mad JS skills, know your way around “modern” PHP and an appreciation for delivering quality solutions.

What will I be working on?

• Driving innovation by coming up with new and surprising ideas
• Providing feedback and constructive criticism to improve our design, usability and interaction
• Promote web standards & instilling best practices in our team
• Participating in our Agile development process

What Technology will I use?

• PHP5.4 soon to be upgraded to 5.6 (fingers crossed)
• AWS, the whole lot (cloudformation, ec2 with auto-scaling, s3 etc…)
• Zurbfoundation with SASS
• Behat for behaviour driven testing
• Angular.JS
• Git and Github
• MySQL and Redis

Who We Are Looking For?

• 3-5 years’ experience with advanced knowledge in front-end and back-end standards and techniques
• Strong JavaScript experience, preferably using a framework such as Backbone.JS, Ember.JS or Angular.JS.
• Experience in “modern” PHP
• Experience with an MVC PHP framework (Zend, Symfony, etc)
• Experience with LESS or Sass
• Unit test frameworks/tools like QUnit, PhantomJS and PHPUnit
• Behaviour Test experience is ideal
• Experience in agile project management (SCRUM or Kanban)
