We are Stream Nation (www.streamnation.com) a completely new take on cloud storage for personal media (movies, videos, photos etc) with a suite of innovative features that make it unique on the market:  streaming your movie collections on all your devices and be able to share them with friends and family.

We are looking for our Platform Lead who has the confidence to execute and lead our growing team. You still ship code, are self-motivated and with a strong experience to bring to the table.

 

YOU

  • Excellent communicator and team leader with past experience in managing small teams

  • Startup savvy, get things done attitude

  • 5+ years ruby experience (not just Rails)

  • Demonstrable experience with large-scale consumer services

  • MySQL/NoSQL/Redis

  • Have architected and developed high throughput API

  • Strong believer in TDD

  • Love for complex asynchronous environments

  • Love challenges

  • Still ship code everyday

  • Know how to recruit and build a team
