The client a full-licensed bank with several business operations in Singapore. This bank is seeking suitable candidates for IT Development team in Information Systems Asia Pacific (ISAP), an IT Centre for both IT Production and Application development.

Senior IT Project Manager

Department overview

The team (84 persons) provides Intranet, Security Authorization and Business Intelligence solutions to client's users worldwide. The underlying technologies used are mainly Microsoft products (.Net, IIS, SQL Server). Our functional coverage is wide ranging from collaborative sites and portals to completely custom applications with workflow/Authorization Request Management, Enterprise Content Management and Business Intelligence. The projects size spectrum is from 50 to 1800 Man.Days for about 16K MD for the global portfolio per year, organized around a resource pool. The team includes Project Managers, developers, business analysts and architects.

Responsibilities Inside the team, the Project Manager has to:

  • manage a pool of projects
  • manage the project team in order to produce the expected artifacts
  • produce, follow and update the Project Plan
  • architect and design solutions with the architecture team
  • identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • supervise day-to-day contributions to the projects
  • initiate and review the Test Strategy with the business analysts
  • manage the communication with contributors and user representatives
  • follow the client's methodology (Agile included)

The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with the rest of the team.

Requirements

Mandatory

  • 4+ years experience on Project Management role
  • Expertise in managing SDLC and different activities
  • Expertise in MS Project (Baseline follow-up, Earned Value Management)
  • Expertise in Designing applications using UML
  • Good knowledge of stakes and constraints of large information systems.
  • Sound knowledge of Design Patterns (Factory, Observer, Strategy, IOC, DI…)
  • Experience on Enterprise Frameworks (.Net, Entlib, Velocity, MS BI stack…)
  • Good knowledge of BI components (SSAS, SSRS, SQL) is a plus
  • Deep understanding of SDLC
  • Good knowledge of C# up to 4.0 (Lambda Expression, Expression Tree, Dynamics, Generics…) is optional
  • Excellent English written & verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • PMP or RUP certification
