Your Role:

Your main task as a Quality Assurance Engineer is to make sure that the results of the company’s work conform the highest quality standards and the end-user has the best possible experience while using its cluster management product. This challenging Automation Engineer job will give you an opportunity to:

• Validate the company’s cluster management product that is based on Linux;
• Closely collaborate with the development team, give them your feedback and suggestions to improve the end-user experience;
• Be actively involved the development and maintenance of the automated test suite;
• Conduct different types of scalability testing;
• Work with the latest hardware, particularly CPUs, Xeon Phi, 40 Gig-E, Omni-Path, InfiniBand;
• Apply open-source software technologies like Spark, Hadoop, OpenStack, Docker, Puppet, Kubernetes, Open vSwitch, Ceph, and parallel file systems (GPFS, Lustre, BeeGFS);
• Boost your skills in the area of large scale cluster management.

Your qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or comparable relevant work experience;
• At least 2 years of relevant experience;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
• Have a good grasp of the whole software development process;
• Good knowledge of Perl and Unix shell programming;
• Familiarity with high performance computing as well as system administration is appreciated;
• Experience with formal testing methods and software tools is desirable but not obligatory;
• Proficiency with Linux operating system and the command-line interface;
• Experience with the most common software that is part of a typical Linux installation;
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies in your work.
