for a highly-skilled quality assurance analyst to assist one of our high-frequency
Hedge Fund clients in New York City.
candidate will work as Quality Assurance Manager and will join the Markets
Division of our client. The Markets division is responsible for providing
market intelligence and liquidity access in addition to developing capabilities
for new markets and optimizing access to existing ones.

We are looking
for a candidate to be responsible for:
a team of people to design, implement and execute pre-production testing
of software and hardware based market
existing tools and processes to ensure new releases of trading software
function as intended, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.
the design, implementation and adoption of newer tools and processes to
continue the transformation of testing to a highly automated, repeatable and
with software development teams on the design and delivery of new products and
bottlenecks and pain points, and working with stakeholders as necessary to
improve the quality and efficiency of the end-to-end software development
closely with production support teams to ensure the production environment is
well understood by teams responsible for delivering new products into it, and
that the design of test plans adequately takes it into account.
least 6 years of experience in software and/or hardware quality assurance
least 4 years of experience in trading systems
least 2 years of experience managing people and projects
least 2 years of experience in, or working towards, an environment where test
execution is overwhelmingly automated
knowledge of software fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and
practical knowledge of Python and/or similar scripting languages
with other development languages such as C, C++ and Java. (Working knowledge of
C++ a strong plus.)
