It is called ICEYE. They are building a satellite-based service to provide the world with access to near-real-time imagery from space. Their synthetic aperture radar (SAR) instrument can capture images through clouds, darkness and other obscuring elements, making it more reliable for operational use than optical camera systems. LOCATION
Team is located within Otaniemi campus area (it is the biggest high-tech hub in Finland) in Espoo, Finland.
POSITION
Senior Electronics Design Engineer.
You will be responsible for the full process of specifying, developing, manufacturing and testing of cutting-edge electronic systems for a spacecraft. You will get the chance to develop reliable power and high-speed digital electronics systems in a small software team in an earth observation data company that designs, builds and operates its own satellite constellations.

Your primary tasks as Electronics Design Engineer will be:
Identifying design and system requirements;
Designing, prototyping and testing high-reliability power and embedded control systems;
Preparing lightweight documentation;
Participating in design reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for position, you should meet next criteria:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years experience in designing complex electrical power systems or embedded control systems.
Knowledge of high-speed digital and/or analog PCBs design techniques.
Knowledge of circuit simulation tools.
Familiarity with microcontrollers/FPGAs.
Good English.
