 As front-end developer you are responsible for the design, layout and graphical structure of a web application. You are involved with the technical and graphical aspects of a website - how the site works and how it looks. You can also be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing web components. You are able to prototype and develop functional front-end website components.

Principal accountabilities

The front-end developer is responsible for the graphical development, maintenance and design of web applications and application components. You structure the designs into technical HTML, CSS and Javascript code for use in development. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to ensure the success of the projects. The front-end developer will have the ability to create mock-ups and components from the requirements stage to utilize the development teams and business stake holders.

Education

BS / BA university degree a plus but not required. Education preferable in a technical / design or (digital) arts related field.

Experience

2-4 years of web design/development experience in preferably an Agile team environment.
