About

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer (m/f) to currently maintain and rebuild the current FRIDA user interface with the most current tech stack. As a JavaScript Developer at Risk Ident, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending existing products, and developing the UI technology for new products. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated self starter with a passion for current and up-coming technologies (like Redux/ngrx, Docker, webpack, GraphQL), fluent in CSS and JavaScript and at least one MV* framework for building Single Page Applications (SPA). Additionally, he or she would have a good eye for design and an understanding of „Information Architecture“, being able to apply his or her knowledge to making UX improvements and suggestions.

Skill Set

Basic Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of modern browser technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, and modern JavaScript

• Knowledge of build tooling such as grunt / gulp, bower, transpilers to JavaScript (coffescript, babel, TypeScript)

• Experience with at least one modern MV* frameworks / libraries for SPAs like AngularJS or ReactJS

• Good English language skills, German is not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Emerging web standards such as web components, shadow DOM

• Experience with CSS precompilers like SASS or LESS

• Knowing design philosophies such as Material Design

• Familiar with UX concepts such as Information Architecture

• Experience in data visualisation

• Familiar with unit testing and development processes like TDD / BDD

• Familiar with test specific tools / libraries like Karma and Jasmine

• Knowledge about Redux/ngrx, Docker, webpack and GraphQL
