Your Role:

As a SRE with relocation to Lisbon you are going to be a part of a great business which connects millions of people all around the world. By taking this position you will join an experienced team of open-minded and motivated techies, you will get a chance to show your skills and share you background and experience. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring scalability, deployment, performance of  the platform for buying and selling services and goods;
  • Architecting, building and implementing of infrastructure services in order to make the platform grow;
  • Building various tools for simplifying and speeding up everyday, routine operations;
  • To do your best to push the platform to higher level;
  • Cooperating with Engineering Department to evangelize scalable and sensible design of systems;
  • Working closely with other departments and teams to support worldwide app groups.

Your qualification:

  • More than 3 years experience in the relevant field;
  • Great experience with scaling and building of High-Traffic Web Applications;
  • Experience with NoSQL, SQL, DNS, CDN;
  • Excellence with (at least one) Ruby, Go, Python, Java;
  • Proficiency at Puppet, Ansible or Chef and other frameworks for configuration management;
  • Superior knowledge and experience with Networking Systems and Unix/Linux;
  • Knowledge of cloud based solutions (e.g. AWS etc).
