Visas:

European citizens only

For one of the biggest global technological company in the world, with 40 offices spread around 14 different countries, we are currently looking for a software engineer to join our team in Barcelona in constant expansion.

We landed in Spain only 6 months ago and are already 30 people working in the office but by the end of the year we are looking into expanding to 100 people.

We are closely associated with the movement of agile software development and we like to contribute to a wide range of open source products. We love working with TDD and pair programming and are looking for colleagues who are alike.

What will I be doing?

  • Use and grow agile practises in a project, using for example continuous integration (with Docker etc.) and test driven development practices (TDD and BDD)
  • Work with latest technologies like Scala, Java, AWS, microservices etc.
  • At the moment we're working for example on a high scalable project in Scala for one of our clients, e-commerce leader in its sector.
  • Coach and spread best practices of software development inside and outside our community (sharing is caring)
  • Work with extremely talented and diverse people in an open and non-hierarchical environment

What kind of profile we're looking for:

  • You have been working as software developer for at least 3 years
  • You love Agile methodology, TDD and pair programming
  • Good development and delivery experience- we're looking for a polyglot developer so any programming language is welcome :)
  • Active participation in the community
