Position Overview

• Help design and deliver large pieces of our next generation video infrastructure including both the backend components and the mobile and desktop client stacks
• Work on the our backend media servers across our media capabilities including audio, video, and screen share
• Design and implement new algorithms to provide the best user experience possible over wired and mobile networks
• Own various components of the media stacks on Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms
• Produce scalable, maintainable, and test-driven C, C++, and Python code in a fast-paced environment
• Learn, grow, deliver and make a difference

Key Responsibilities

In 3 months, you will have:

• Delivered key components of our next generation video infrastructure within our backend servers, mobile and desktop clients and browser clients

In 6 months, you will have:

• Work on the backend control logic for our next generation video infrastructure

In 12 months, you will have:

• Developed a SIP/H.323 TP interop mode for our next generation video infrastructure

Position requirements:

• 7+ years experience in C/C++
• Experience working with audio or video media including RTP/RTCP and video codecs
• Experience with any of the following a plus: VoIP, video conferencing, WebRTC, FreeSWITCH
• Experience with network development
