Medallia is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support a high-performance infrastructure environment for our customer experience SaaS platform. This is an opportunity to work on new innovative technologies and in collaboration with talented engineering and operations teams. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support a large-scale distributed infrastructure for superior uptime and reliability.
• Performance tune infrastructure and application stacks for high performance.
• Lead technical implementation and delivery on infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with Engineering teams on high performance compute requirements.
• Perform capacity planning for a rapidly growing production environment.
• Provide second and third level support for a global SaaS platform.
• Find and test new infrastructure and application technologies to help improve the platform scalability and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a hands-on working knowledge of multiple infrastructure domains (DC-Server-Storage-Networking).
• Know the Linux operating system inside out (mainly CentOs and Ubuntu).
• Worked with physical, virtual and cloud environments in the past.
• Can setup advanced monitoring and manage large-scale infrastructure configurations with multiple tools.
• Script any task you have to do more than once using Perl, Bash, Python or other scripting languages.
• Are able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
