VIORAMA is dedicated to make VR creative, simple and fast. It is your task to come up with and execute a visual identity for creating and discovering VR content. These innovative solutions to big problems will be based on incredible input by VR designers, 3D artists and engineers. A Technical Artist at VIORAMA forges features of simplicity and great performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, implement and invent the approach to execute VIORAMA’s vision
  • Provide unique solutions to improve the creative process in a collaborative environment
  • Create high-quality visual effects using photo, video, shaders and 3D models
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to work out technical challenges
  • Heavy user-testing and assumption clearing
  • Virtual or Augmented Reality development experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Vast understanding of the technical requirements of real-time content development for mobile platforms, able to devise the highest visual quality solutions within aggressive performance constraints
  • Working knowledge of performance analysis tools
  • Proficient with various professional 2D and 3D software packages for asset content production (e.g. ffmpeg, After Effects, Zbrush, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Expertise with game engines (e.g. Unity3D)
  • Coding and script authoring experience
  • In depth knowledge of software and shading techniques
  • Portfolio review required

Special Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in video rendering and playback
  • Experience with computer vision
  • Experience with data visualisation
