API Project Manager

Job Profile

• Managing a fast-growing development team, in charge of the development of the WayFinder API, our main product. The candidate will manage deadlines, repository and tasks.
• Acting as the interface between our business and development teams
• Taking part to the design of the overall Waynaut architecture, along with the other senior devs.
• Spotting issues in the current infrastructure and proposing new solutions
• When needed, relating to international enterprise clients and gathering their feedback in order to improve the product
• Being in charge of KPIs such as the API response time, accuracy of the response, downtime

Required skills:

• Knowledge of Project Management techniques
• At least one year experience in API oriented projects
• Advanced Java knowledge
• Team management capabilities
• A positive attitude toward teamwork
• Proactivity and enthusiasm (we're a start-up!)

Compensation:

Gross salary: 30.000 - 40.000 € depending on experience (no telecommuting allowed) Stock option package

Waynaut makes order out of transport data chaos. We allow every website or app to show their users the best way to get where they need, from door to door, using traditional and innovative means of transportation. With our API, we can act as a platform which will enable everyone, for a reasonable fee, to integrate our multimodal routing power everywhere.

For example, GDS can complement their offer with ground transport; Online Travel Agencies and Travel Search Engines can explain their users not just how to get from Malpensa to Fiumicino, but from Piazza Duomo to via Condotti; Mapping sites can improve the accuracy and granularity of transport routing.
