Biscuit is seed funded, has our first customer, prototypes and looking for a VP of Engineering to join the team and help grow it out. We are looking for someone who is deeply technical but also has the spirit of a founder and the energy and discipline to grow in to the CTO role.

VP of Engineering
In our first six months, we will focus on building out the product, the team and working with existing customers for validation. We are looking for a full-stack VP of engineering with a desire to build beautiful and functional mobile, web and hardware products.

You should love data, analytics, data visualization and Game of Thrones.

Requirements – Don’t worry if you haven’t worked with some of these before, just let us know why you would be excited to work with them and learn them in the future.

• Superb iOS and Android skills. Please point us to apps you’ve already built.
• PHP5, HTML5 (responsive design), CSS/JavaScript (Bootstrap, Angular, Less, Coffeescript, Node.js)
• Experience designing and developing RESTful interfaces as well as implementation of various streaming protocols MQTT, AMQP.
• Experience in structured and unstructured data & steam processing systems especially distributed systems and MapReduce (Hadoop, Apache Storm, Event Hubs etc.).
• Apache + MySQL + Redis. Dedicated servers + AWS (EC2, S3 and more)
• DevOps with Git + svn, Docker, CoreOS etc.
• MS in Computer Science, EE or equivalent. PhD preferred
• You have experience with growing and managing a team of engineers
• You are customer-oriented and love to move fast
• Embedded systems programming in C/C++ is a plus
• Experience with machine learning toolkits is a plus (Azure ML, Matlab, MILK, AWS ML etc.)
