Your profile

 BS degrees in Computer Science are good, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experiences are OK too; Master’s, PhD degree, further education are also welcome to apply :)

At least 7 years of Software Development experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, mobile application development, Big Data, developing large software systems, and/or security software development. Experience with one or more of these programming languages is preferred: Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Clojure, iOS and Android.

Good knowledge of Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) would be greatly appreciated.

Past experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.

Past experiences with Agile Methodologies is preferred (Scrum, XP...)

You know how to choose the right technology to solve an issue.

You have a solid business understanding, and you know how to face business issues with technology solutions.

Good understanding of UI and UX.

Experience with Agile Methodologies is preferred

A passion for programming.

Always investigating on recent evolutions in software development, new technologies and project approaches.

Resourceful, pro-active and self-initiating.

You are willing to work on your own, but you know that good delivery involves teamwork.

You know how be efficient in your work to meet project deadline.

Big ideas over big egos. Show-offs welcome, but no “I” before “team”.

You write code for humans first and computers second.

You know the difference between software engineering and hacking, and you can do both.

You have strong opinions about code quality.
